Lasun Chutney is a spicy, yummy and irresistable chutney or accompaniment served with snacks and food in Maharashtrian household. It goes well with dry snacks, vada pav and almost any food item. Since it can be stored for longer periods one can carry it during picnics and travels.
Ingredients for Lasun Chutney Dry Recipe:
Lasun (garlic) - 10 - 12 cloves
Coconut - 1 cup, grated
Peanuts - 2 tbsp
Sesame seeds (til) - 2 tbsp
Jeera ( cumin seeds) - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Dry red chili - 6 to 7, whole
Salt, as required
Method for Lasun Chutney Dry Recipe:
Heat a pan. On low flame, roast each above mentioned ingredient separately except salt and coriander powder.
Allow them to cool.
Grind all the roasted ingredients together along with coriander powder and salt. Dry grind without adding water.
Store in airtight container.
