Why Few Survive a Heart Attack while other's don't?

They just get lucky! No just kidding. Few people do survive worst of the worst heart attack, while few otehrs don't. There are couple of reasons for the same. One of the notable reasons is the presence of extra blood vessels which can work as a bypass and allow blood circulation via via; even if the main artery is blocked. Thus this ensures that even if the main artery suffers coronary blockage the additional blood vessels make it possible to circulate the blood to heart muscles beyond the blockage and thus avoid fatal consequences.

So if a person has extra blood vessels he has a chance of survival, but if a person lacks presence of these extra blood vessels then it can get bit difficult!
