Sol Kadhi

Ingredients for Sol Kadhi:

Kokam - 10 nos.
Coconut - 1 cup, grated
Garlic - 4-5 flakes
Green Chilies - 1
Coriander - 1 tsp, chopped
Cumin powder - 1 pinch

Method for Sol Kadhi:

To prepare Sol Kadhi, soak the kokam in boiling water. Cover and let it soak for at least 30 minutes. Squeeze the kokam into the water and discard them. Set the water aside.

Grind garlic, green chillies and coconut into smooth paste. Extract coconut milk from this paste and mix with the kokam water.

Add the chopped coriander, cumin powder, salt and sugar to it.

Refrigerate for a while and serve.

Tip: Sol Kadhi is made from Kokams and is considered good for digestion. Sol Kadhi goes well with a fish fry and rice. Taste best when chilled.
