Oyster knife |
Insert a point of the knife (oyster knife) right between the oyster shell just next to the hinge.
Cut through the muscle which holds the shell together.
Separate the oyster shell from each other and loosen the oyster meat partially. Do not cut the meat entirely.
Remove the sand and other particles stuck within the shell and wash them with cold water.
Note: Please don't try this with other knife, as their are chances of you getting hurt. Oyster knives are easily available in supermarkets.
