How good are low fat readily available packed foods?

No idea.. seriously, apart from what has been written on the labels of the boxes and cans which contain this readily available low fat packed foods, one can’t be completely sure about how good they are. These packets however are really convenient. They claim to be low in fats, low in calories and low in sugar too. So why wouldn’t we believe them.

But it is also a known fact that few foods when packed lose their nutrients and thus offer less nutritional value. Even these foods don’t offer longer shelf life hence needs to be finished within the specified time frame.

Isn’t everyone crazy about these frozen foods nowadays? Anything from readymade soups, instant gravies, instant coconut milk, ready-made packed dals and curries seem to invite a lot of attention. We find many freezers stacked up with foods (including mine). They save time and are easy to make. Real boon!! Wonder doesn’t this instant soups save time and help us serve various variety soups to our family. Otherwise would you really make an effort of making Hot and Sour Soup or Chicken Cream Soup every day? I don’t think so..
