How was rosemary found?

Rosemary
Rosemary is a combination of two Latin words: Ros which means Dew and Marinus which means Sea; i.e. dew from the sea. Rosemary has been found decades ago. It is said that in ancient Greece, Rosemary was often used to burn at shrines for driving away evil spirits.

Other than that it has always been an important herb which has been used for flavoring foods. Rosemary has also been native to Mediterranean Sea, and also known to be used by Romans and Greeks as a medicinal herb.
