Aam Ka Panna Concentrate Recipe - Bottled Raw Mango Concentrate Recipe

Aam ka Panna or ambyacha panha as known in Marathi is a cool refreshing summer drink that helps us to beat summer and also fights and prevents heat stroke. You can find aam panna served everywhere roadsides on the streets of Mumbai during summer. It is charged only INR 5 to 10 for a glass of soothing and tasty aam ka panna. It immediately energizes you and quenches your thirst.

As soon as the good quality raw mangoes arrive during it's season, many households are know to buy those raw mangoes and prepare raw mango concentrates which helps us make the aam ka panna whenever we wish at home. This is one way to store raw mangoes at home. Here's an easy recipe of concentrate of Aam ka Panna, which once bottled and refrigerated can be used whenever you wish to savour the aam ka panna.

Ingredients for Aam Ka Panna Concentrate Recipe

Raw Mango - 1 kg
Sugar - 800 gms
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp, roasted and powdered
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Black salt - 2 tbsp

Method for Aam Ka Panna Concentrate Recipe

Wash and clean the raw mangoes carefully. Pressure cook the raw mangoes for at least two to three whistles. Allow it to cool.

 Once done, remove the skin and collect the pulp in a blender. Discard the seed and the skin.

Blend the pulp to make a smooth paste. Place the pulp in a  large bowl, and add sugar along with the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.

Once done transfer the contents in a glass bottle and refrigerate.

Whenever needed you can remove a couple of spoonful of this panna or raw mango concentrate in glasses, add cold water to it, sprinkle little chaat masala, place a few sprigs of mint leaves (optional) and few ice cubes. The aam ka panna is ready to be served.
